That is exactly what the Junior Communication Academy (JCA) is designed to address.

Who is This Course For ?
The Junior Communication Academy is designed for Grade 4–6 learners who need to:
• Become more confident when speaking
• Improve their spoken English
• Develop a richer and more useful vocabulary
• Express themselves using complete, meaningful sentences
• Improve pronunciation and articulation
• Read aloud with confidence and expression
• Develop better listening and conversation skills
• Organise their thoughts before speaking
• Speak confidently in front of classmates and other audiences
• Learn how to express opinions respectfully
• Develop early presentation and public-speaking skills
The programme is suitable for children who are naturally quiet as well as confident children who need help becoming more articulate, organised and effective communicators.
What Will Your Child Learn ?
1. My Voice Matters
Building confidence, speaking audibly, maintaining appropriate eye contact, developing good posture and learning how to introduce themselves confidently.
2. Say It Clearly
Pronunciation, articulation, diction, volume, pace and speaking clearly enough to be understood.
3. Wonderful Words
Building vocabulary through context, synonyms, descriptive language and learning to use new words naturally in conversation.
4. Build Better Sentences
Moving beyond one-word answers and basic expressions to communicate thoughts using complete, interesting and meaningful sentences.
5. Read Like a Storyteller
Reading aloud with expression while learning how punctuation, pausing, stress, rhythm and intonation affect meaning.
6. Tell Me a Story
Developing storytelling skills through sequencing, description, imagination, vocal expression and strong beginnings and endings.
7. Let’s Talk!
Learning how to start and maintain conversations, listen attentively, ask good questions, take turns and respond appropriately.
8. Think Fast, Speak Up!
Developing confidence in impromptu speaking, organising ideas quickly and responding to unexpected but age-appropriate questions.
9. What Do You Think?
Learning to express opinions clearly, give reasons, agree or disagree respectfully and begin developing critical-thinking skills.
10. Show & Tell Like a Pro
Learning how to describe, explain and present an object, idea or experience while keeping an audience interested.
11. Speak Before an Audience
An introduction to public speaking — organising a short speech, using gestures appropriately, projecting the voice and connecting with an audience.
12. My Big Voice!
Bringing together confidence, vocabulary, articulation, storytelling, reading, conversation and public speaking in a final speaking showcase.
What About The School English ?
We won’t ignore it.
Although the Junior Communication Academy is not designed to duplicate regular school English lessons, learners will periodically be invited to share English topics they are finding difficult at school.
During special “Bring It to Teacher Blessing” sessions, selected areas will be explained and practised to help learners strengthen their understanding.
This means your child receives additional support where necessary while the primary focus remains practical communication and confidence.
What Are The Meeting Days And Time ?

⏰ Time: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
💻 Venue: Live Online via Google Meet
Classes are interactive and participation-based. Learners will be expected to speak, read, discuss, answer questions, participate in activities and complete practical communication challenges.
